Enjoy the Limited Vegetables Fully
It’s already autumn in Finland. You can tell that it’s autumn by various signs, such as the fact that it’s a bit chilly or that the mushrooms are growing. For me, the first sign of autumn is the decrease of vegetables in the supermarket.
The season of new potatoes is over, spring onions have all been turned into onions, and carrots with leaves are disappearing, which makes me feel a little sad.
The vegetables that are readily available in Finland all year round are potatoes, carrots, onions, cucumbers and tomatoes. I guess cucumbers and tomatoes are grown in greenhouses. The price is stable all year round, which is very helpful.
This is a tasty and easy tomato salad made with tomatoes and onions, which can be enjoyed all year round in Finland.
