Easy Rich Hummus with Boiled Chickpeas

One of the most delicious foods I’ve encountered in Finland is hummus. Of course, it is not a Finnish dish, but it is so common that you can buy it ready-made in any supermarket.

If you go to the big supermarkets, you can find not only simple hummus, but also various flavored hummus. One of my best was the hummus with dried tomatoes. The sweetness and sourness of the dried tomatoes were so tasty.

Hummus is a healthy and delicious dish. If you add dried tomatoes to hummus, the sweetness and umami taste added and becomes great food.

It was so good that I bought some chickpeas and made it myself. Boiling the beans yourself makes it even better. However, you need to soak the chickpeas in water the day before. When you want to eat hummus, it’s not easy to wait until the next day. So I’ll show you a recipe with commercially available beans boiled in water.

I made this with commercially available boiled beans, beans I boiled myself, and beans I steamed myself. After all, the beans taste better if you boil or steam them yourself, as they have a stronger flavor. However, the chickpeas need to be soaked in water from the day before. Tomorrow I’m going to make hummus! Do you decide like this? For me, NO! Hummus is easy food for me, so I introduce a recipe that can be made easily.
When you boil beans by yourself, they are often softer than commercially boiled beans, so first stir them without adding water, and then add water as you watch.
