I used to use the delicious ponzu that I bought at the Tokyo Kan in Helsinki, but I ran out of it, so I made homemade ponzu and it was the best ponzu I’ve ever had. The taste of freshly squeezed juice is totally different. It’s also great that you can make it just by mixing.
Homemade Ponzu with Lemon and Lime
- pure lemon juice (lime, yuzu, etc.) 100 mL
- soy sauce 100 mL
- dashi powder (4g) 1 tsp
- Squeeze out the juice.
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Store in the refrigerator.
