Finnish Blueberry Pie and Raspberry Pie, Crumble Cake

They Are All PIE

In my mind, this recipe is a cake, but Juhani says that Mustikkapiirakka = “blueberry pie”. But what I made before was Mustikkapiirakka, too. He said yes, and, that one used rahka, so Mustikkarahkapiirakka = “blueberry pie with rahka”.

From Finland, the land of blueberries, comes this recipe for a delicious blueberry pie with white chocolate. You can enjoy the cafe taste.

OK, all of them are PIES. It is still a cake in my opinion, though.
The recipe, I baked in cake molds to make it look pretty. In Finland, however, we bake a lot, pouring 2-3 times this amount into a baking pan. It’s not a fancy cake, but more of a snack cake. Finns make a lot of cinnamon rolls and pies at once.
